What is a Celebrant?

A Celebrant is someone who will conduct a wedding, funeral or naming ceremony.

 

This will be a bespoke ceremony to meet your exact requirements.

Why choose a Celebrant?

A Celebrant has the freedom to conduct your bespoke ceremony according to your wishes, and can include any personal, spiritual or religious content.

A Celebrant will meet with you several times before your ceremony, so they can get to know you and your partner. You can then discuss and plan together the type of ceremony you would like.

With a Celebrant ceremony you have the freedom to express what you want to say through your choice of poems, readings and music.

​

You can choose to have your ceremony in many varied settings such as a beautiful stately home for your wedding, a natural burial ground for a funeral, a treasured outdoor space for a memorial, or your own garden for a baby naming ceremony.

Note: With a wedding ceremony you will currently need to register your marriage at the registry office, and I, as your Celebrant, will help guide you with this and any other legal requirements.
