Hi, I'm Stuart.

​

As a Celebrant, I provide and deliver personalised wedding, funeral and naming ceremonies in and around Leicestershire and surrounding counties.

​

I was born and bred in Leicestershire, and having lived here for most of my life, with the exception of 4 years during my studies at Liverpool University and a year as a volunteer working with young people in Derbyshire, it is the place I call home.

Thinking back to when my partner and I were planning our wedding, I really wish I had been more aware about all the options that were available to us.  It would have been a much better experience for us to have known that someone, a Celebrant, would come to our home and get to know more about us, listen to us and find out what we wanted for our day.

 

For that person to be with us through all the exciting build up and then lead our ceremony for us on the day would have been wonderful, and a much more personal and memorable experience.

I didn't have that and it's one of the reasons why I wanted to become a Celebrant, so I could make sure that as many couples as possible are aware of their options so that they can have their wedding their way.

As part of my career I have managed older people's services, and can empathise with how distressing it can be when you lose a loved one. As a Celebrant, I want to be able to help to relieve the pressures that can be felt when planning for a funeral, and provide as much practical support for you during this difficult time.

​
